The mperical Asset Management AG Group is an independent asset management company with its head offices in Zurich and Dublin under approval by the "Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority" regarding the management of European mutual funds (UCITS III Funds). mperical specializes in global investing in publicly traded shares, in particular in growth companies. Evaluation, stock picking and investing of portfolio companies take place according to a proprietary approach based on fundamental analysis and is fully supported by informatics (Empirically-based Asset Management/HPS Technology). Through its HPS Funds – the HPS LIFE World Fund and the HPS TIME World Fund – mperical invests globally in companies in the areas of "Life and Health" and "Knowledge and Communication". Furthermore, under contract by widely known asset management institutions mperical acts successfully as an Investment Adviser for the investment in listed companies of specific geographic regions or countries. Innoven Partenaires is a French venture capital and private equity company with its head office in Paris and an office in London, which has been approved by the Autorité des Marchés Financières (AMF) for the management of venture capital funds, so-called FCPI (Fonds Commun de Placements dans l'Innovation). Innoven invests in France and throughout Europe, particularly in recently founded companies with high future growth potential in the sectors LIFE (health – information – Food – environment) and TIME (telecommunication – information – media – entertainment). Innoven has accumulated significant know-how in the development of growth companies, has access to a broad international network and has gained considerable experience in mergers & acquisitions and in the IPO of investment companies.

From the perspective of the BT&T Group, it is Innoven's objective to identify attractive companies with significant future potential and to invest successfully into them. Once such a company turns out to be most promising, it may be developed into a "Strategic Project". Further financing of its growth will then take place in co-operation between the partners. Innoven and BT&T can attend such a portfolio company during all phases of its development competently based on their know-how and financial resources.

Rock Well Petroleum is an North American energy and oil exploration company with its head office in Calgary (Canada).

As part of the refocusing in 2009 the business model of Rock Well was revised and the company restructured. New it is divided into two business areas:

Convential oil production

After the refocusing in 2009 the concentration is on the business area "conventional oil production". In comparison with "junior oil companies" Rock Well Petroleum has exceptionally large oil fields at its disposals with significant future performance potential.

Due to the strategic importance for the funds managed by Innoven BT&T Asset Management AG has taken over the representation of Innoven's interest in Rock Well in close coordination with Innoven at the beginning of 2008.
